How to Vote

Waukee follows Code of Iowa Chapter 45, Nominations by Petition process for elections. Elections for City office are held in odd-numbered years. Waukee Municipal Code Chapter 6 includes additional information on City elections.

Nominations for City office shall be filed with the Dallas County Elections Office. Affidavits of Candidacy and Nomination Petitions will not be accepted by the City Clerk. To obtain candidate forms, contact the Dallas County Elections Office.
