Registering to Vote

In order to vote in Iowa elections, you must have an updated voter registration in the State of Iowa. How to Vote

Elections for City Offices

Waukee follows Code of Iowa Chapter 45, Nominations by Petition process for elections. Elections for City office are held in odd-numbered years. Waukee Municipal Code Chapter 6 includes additional information on City elections.

 Code of Iowa Nominations for City office shall be filed with the Dallas County Elections Office. Affidavits of Candidacy and Nomination Petitions will not be accepted by the City Clerk. To obtain candidate forms, contact the Dallas County Elections Office.
