Bond Rating
According to Moody’s rating agency, the City of Waukee has a very strong credit position. The Aa1 rating is above the median rating of Aa3 for US cities. Notable credit factors include a robust financial position, healthy tax base and sound wealth and income profile. The stronger the bond rating, the lower the interest rate the City pays to borrow money for major projects, such as new roads.
